How to do Ring Push Ups

Push ups are really hard.

Until they’re not.

Just like any exercise the key to progress is in creating more challenges to overcome.

And yeah, you could just do MORE push ups….but a way we like to advance the push up is to perform it on some rings.

When you do Ring Push Ups you have to learn to create a ton of tension in your body to stay stable.

You also have to contract your shoulders and chest harder than normal so you can drive the rings together.

It’s an amazing, and impressive, exercise.

Here’s how to do it:

👉🏻 Set some rings up 2-4 feet off the ground

👉🏻 Start with your feet on the ground at first (when you get stronger you can elevate your feet)

👉🏻 Tuck your elbows

👉🏻 Keep your abs and butt tight

👉🏻 Slowly lower yourself down until your hands are even with your ribs

👉🏻 As you press up drive your hands together

You’ll feel these in your chest and shoulders about ten times more than you do a regular push up.So if you’re looking to add a little controlled difficulty to your push ups, this is the way to go.

Getting the body of your dreams is not about doing a six-week "challenge", getting amazing results and then never worrying about fitness again.

Everyone who follows these types of programs and loses fat, winds up gaining it back again.

The real secret to losing fat and building muscle that lasts forever is to build a sustainable lifestyle, rather than focusing on the latest fad diet.

If you’re tired of trying the latest training program you see on the internet, making some decent progress, then find yourself slipping back into your old habits click here to learn more.
