Cosmo Is Full of Shit

Cosmo is full of shit.

Last week Cosmo cynically published a story that purposely stirred the manufactured pot.

It was pictures of women of all different sizes with a headline that proclaimed “this is healthy.”

Some of the women were dangerously obese.

Still the headline proclaimed “this is healthy.”

Now

I don’t think I’m wrong in saying that obesity isn’t healthy.

And I also don’t think I’m wrong in saying that 98% of people on earth know that and agree with that.

We’re at a point where only 12% of american adults are considered metabolically healthy.

That’s a fucking disaster.

Obesity is a complex problem, often stemming from trauma, with a simple solution.

My biggest problem with articles like this is that they aren’t actually about health or fitness.

These articles don’t actually talk about how to develop a healthy self esteem or how to actually chase health.

They’re about identity.

And they're designed to manipulate you for the publisher's benefit.

You want to get back in shape.

But you don’t want to pay the high cost of one on one personal training.

And you also don’t want to be thrown into a group of 20 people all doing the same workout.

You want personal attention, but also the energy of a small, focused group of like minded people.

You want to learn how to get stronger, leaner and less prone to injury.

You also want to save a little bit of money on some really, really elite coaching.

Well semi private personal training is the perfect solution for you.
