4 Steps to Beat Anxiety

I woke up full of anxiety today.

My breath was shorter, my Adam's apple was up in my mouth and I just felt like the worst version of myself.

I have a lot of big plans for 2021 but that means I also have a lot of big responsibilities.

I’m sure you’re feeling the same way.

There’s a lot you have to accomplish in 2021, and there’s a lot you want to accomplish.

Sometimes it all feels overwhelming.

Anxiety happens, we can’t control that.

What we can control is how we react to it.

We can put simple systems of behavior in place to cut anxiety off before it ruins our day. 

If you're aiming for a small target, one that few people hit, the bow's going to shake a little in your hand.

The only thing you can do is calm your breathing and aim for it anyway. You have to put systems in place to save you from the worst version of yourself.

The version of yourself that tells you that the target is too small, and you're too far away.

That you've never hit the target and you never will.

Success is a habit, and good habits start by building good systems.
